I specialize in treating adults with OCD and anxiety disorders, including social and generalized anxiety and panic disorder. For individuals predisposed to OCD, symptoms often manifest in response to significant life transitions, such as beginning college, engagement/marriage, and becoming a parent. I am adept at treating individuals who are navigating these and other life transitions.
My training includes general cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention (ERP), psychodynamic and relational therapies, family systems, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, among other approaches.
My approach is integrative, incorporating interventions, as appropriate, to maximize your recovery and protect against relapse. Working together, we can tailor your treatment to best meet your needs and goals.
I conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations with children (ages 7 and up), adolescents, and adults experiencing difficulties with attention and learning that interfere with academic and other important areas of functioning.
Testing begins with an intake session to identify and explore your concerns, followed by two to three testing sessions that are generally several hours in length.
I will then score, analyze, and interpret your results, review relevant records, and complete your full-length report. This process generally takes from six to eight weeks, after which we will meet together for a follow-up session.
During your follow-up session, we will review your assessment findings, discuss treatment recommendations, and address any remaining concerns you may have.
Through testing, we can identify obstacles that interfere with your goals and generate solutions to help you succeed.
